- Pregnant or nursing patients
- Patients with cornea disease
- Patients with keratoconus
- Patients with cataract
- Patients who are using drugs including Accutane (Isoretinoin), Sumatripan or Cordarone (Amiodarone)
- Patients with active tissue disease
- Patients with immune disorders
- Patients whose prescription has increased greatly in the last year
- Patients who are not eligible for operation because of their psychological condition
